Learning Spanish with YouTube.

Learning Spanish with U-tube

for advanced learners.

Part 2.

For any  advanced learners of Spanish

YouTube videos might be an interesting choice  to have when learning  Spanish.  It is free, you can choose any video you like to watch at any given time and watch it as many times as you want. However watching educational videos on  you-tube might not be the only thing you can do. You can watch  movies in original versions, news in Spanish or  any movie that is in Spanish –  the material is limitless. Preferably you choose yourself what you like  to watch, as the subject of the movies can motivate you more. So just dig in, take action and if you have no idea then just have a look at some channels I found after  typed “ Spanish for advanced“ in YouTube search box:

Light Speed Spanish

Library of about 75 Videos mostly of two people, Spanish woman and Englishman having a conversation on a chosen topic. I found the conversation interesting to listen to, but I guess it would be more beneficial if  some new vocabulary would be offered so that the viewer could the learn some new stuff along with watching the podcast. The videos are fairly good quality  with good audio. I would recommend watching these.

TLSpanish’ s Chanmel

Spanish lessons with a native Spanish Teacher Laura Garrido Eslava – Laura is talking to the camera and pays attention to the correct and clear pronunciation – she speaks English and Spanish. The channel mentions about 490 videos, some are advanced and some for beginners.I personally do not like this kind of videos – Laura is good at the job but somehow does not make it interesting, it’s just plain, spoken sentences to be taught.  I also think the quality of the video is not the best.

MrLearnSpanish

123Teachme by MrLearnSpanish – pretty extensive video library of  190 good    videos that are mostly no longer than 6 minutes, videos have both English and Spanish texts.  I guess anybody who likes to learn Spanish with YouTube, should not ignore this source for its extensive film library.

I have found just these three sources through a quick check on YouTube. If you know about some other  interesting stuff regarding videos to learn with please share it with us.
